Obituary of Isabel Campbell
At Braemar on Sunday, February 20th, 2022, Isabel (Daer) Campbell of Wingham, passed away at the age of 82.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Campbell who predeceased her in 2021. Loving mom of Ron & Judy Campbell of Corbeil, Wayne & Wendy Campbell of Kitchener, Marilyn & Gerry Freiburger of Wingham, Carolyn Henderson of Wingham, Murray Campbell of Bluevale, Dianne Campbell & Doug Newell of Wingham, Brian & Jen Campbell of Wingham and Gayle & Ron Prout of Brussels. Cherished grandma of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ross Daer, Ken & Janice Daer and Laura Lawrence. Sister-in-law of Nancy Daer, June Daer, Mary Shean, Bessie Johnston, Lil & Ron Smith, Jerry Barrett, Mary Campbell and Jim Lavis. Isabel will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Bert & Dorothy Daer, brothers Ed Daer and Lorne Daer, parents-in-law Oliver & Annie Campbell, sisters-in-law Evelyn “Buzz” Daer, Jean Barrett and Mary Lavis and brothers-in-law Fred Lawrence, Charles, John, Hugh and Colin Campbell, Ken Johnston and Murray Shean.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. You do not need to register to attend visitation. A private funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, February 25th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. A live-stream of the funeral service will be available on our website. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion Br.180 or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
