Obituary of Irene Kindrat
Irene passed away peacefully at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on Sunday, January 16th, 2022. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland on April 16th, 1934, Irene Ingrid Kindrat (nee Brown) of Owen Sound was in her 88th year.
Irene was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Nee Goodlet) Brown. Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Kindrat on August 29, 1992. She was the loving and caring mother of Peter Kindrat (Lorraine) of Owen Sound, Charlie Kindrat of Barrie and Norman Kindrat of Woodbridge. Irene was the proud Granny of Amanda Kindrat, Jennifer Purdy, Lisa Franks, Lindsay Demone (Dwane), Michael Kindrat and great-granny of Emma, Cooper and Everley Demone, Dylan and Evan Purdy, Liam, Colton, Hunter & Bianca Berry and Ayden & Mya Franks. She will be remembered fondly by Blanche Kindrat and Suzanne Mielhausen.
A Private Memorial Service for Irene Kindrat will be held in the Chapel of the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519) 376-7492 on Monday, January 24th, 2022 with Pastor Michael Henkel officiating.Spring interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Owen Sound. All attendees must wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols. Although it is private, friends are welcome to view the service via livestream on the funeral home website at 2:00 p.m.
