Passed away peacefully after a fully lived life on October 18, 2022 at the age of 93. Dear beloved wife of the late Kazimir (2008).
Loving mother of Mary Zak and husband Mike Morrissey of Alliston and Helen and husband Chris Redko of LaSalle.
Loved daughter of the late Heronim and Victoria Ostrowski.
Cherished Babcia of Katherine and Robert Redko, and Harley and Leah Morrissey.
Dear sister of late Joseph and late wife Velda Ostrowski, late Bob and surviving wife Helen Ostrowski of Brantford, and the late Theresa and late Zygmunt.
Irena was a member of the C.W.L and the Polish Alliance Association. She was very involved in the Polish community and with the Tatry Dance Group.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Richmond Terrace for their kind and compassionate care. She considered it home because of the staff, they became her second family.
Visitation at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor 519-969-5841 on Thursday October 20, 2022 from 6-9 pm. Visiting continues on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
