Vaughan O Brace, 78 years old, of Moncton passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Duncan and Jennie Brace.
Vaughan retired from the Co-op Distribution Centre. He adored spending time with his family and friends, loved music and enjoyed fishing with his lifelong best friend Bob Crossman. He dedicated many years serving as a volunteer with many organizations throughout his life including various Co-operatives and served as a past President of the Moncton Lions Club.
He will be dearly missed by his daughters: Deby Reicker and Cathy Hussey; son-in-law Wayne Hussey who fondly called him “Skipper”, and his son Tim Brace. Papa cherished his five grandchildren: Brandon Hussey (Abbey MacDonald), Mitch Hussey (Katie Morehouse), Julia Reicker, Jaime Reicker and Jessica Haslam. He will also be missed by his special friend Colleen Costello as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Claire Brace; his half-brothers: Malcolm, Hanford, Cecil, Vaughan, Ernest; his half- sisters: Annabelle, Edna, Ella and Vivian.
A celebration of life for Vaughan will be held at Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB on
Thursday, May 26th, 2022 at 3:30pm.
