June Stella Bourgeois (Steele), 88, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2022. She was born in Deep Brook, Nova Scotia.
She is survived by her husband Ola Bourgeois; her seven children; Anne Hache (Vernon): David Bourgeois (Jocelyn): Margaret Pelrine (Tony): Michael Bourgeois (Lori): Gregory Bourgeois (Susan): Daniel Bourgeois (Lisa): Donna Bourgeois (Kevin); her sisters: Estelle McGee and Dellis Belliveau: her brother Joseph Steele (Judith): and her sister-in-law Marie Ellen Steele.
She is sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Celina Doucet and Charles Elton Steele: her four sisters; Gloria Norris (Rayburn): Rose Martin (Norman): Willetta Thibeau (Frank): Celina St. Pierre (Leo); her brother Charles Elton Steele; and her two brothers-in-law Lionel Belliveau and Duncan McGee.
June was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved music, her many plants, fantastic knitter, seamstress, and loved animals. She was a long-time member of the Moncton Wesleyan church. She had a passion for the Bible and loved Jesus.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
