Moncton, NB. – Jane Maillet, 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at the Albert House Hospice in Moncton.
Born in Massachusetts, USA, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and the late Irene Maillet (Allain).
Jane will be greatly missed by her brother, John Maillet of Saint-Antoine; her uncle and aunt; several nieces and nephews; as well as her caregivers and close friends, Georges, who she called “Papa Georges” and Gisèle Hébert, of Moncton.
Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by her paternal grand-parents, Arthur and Azelie Maillet (LeBlanc); her maternal grand-parents, Edgar and Blanche Gagnon (Allain); as well as her sister-in-law, Anita.
She worked for the federal government and was the founder and owner of Jane Maillet & Associate Inc. Devoted to her clients, they became her friends. Jane was extremely generous and lived a calm and peaceful life. She had a great love, as well as great respect for animals and nature.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Jane’s clients, whom she loved dearly, the staff of Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital as well as the staff at the Albert House Hospice for the care given to Jane during her last moments. Also a special thanks to Odette of the Extra Mural for her support.
In respect to Jane’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
