Moncton – Francis J. Caissie, 88, passed away on Sunday, May 15th, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Néguac, NB, he was the son of the late Michel and the late Louisa (McMahon) Caissie.
He retired from CCNB-Moncton. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and formerly of St-Louis-de-France parish.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Eveline (Savoie); his daughters: Denise Ouellette (Jacques) of Bathurst, Edith Landry (Michel) of Scoudouc, Huguette McFarlane (late Douglas) of St-Andrews, Florence Lanteigne (René) of Bathurst, Louise Boulay (Donald) of St-Quentin and Marie Libby (Mike) of Moncton; his son, Michel Caissie (Trudy) of Moncton;l his grandchildren: Luc, Mylène, Eveline, Nico, Denis, Debbie, Marie-France and Vincent; his great grandchildren: Patrick, Jérémie, Maëlle and Olivier; his sister, Josephine Lavallée (late André) of Ottawa; his sister-in-law: Marie Lawry, Hélène Savoie and Alfreda Savoie; his brother-in-law, Ray McCullum, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Catherine and also by an infant brother.
Visitation will be held from Passage – Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday, May 20th, 2022, from 2 pm to 2:45 pm, followed by the service in the chapel at 3 pm.
