Cocagne, NB – Cécile Goguen, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Moncton Hospice (Albert House).
Born in Saint-Antoine, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edmond Girouard and the late Rebecca Bourgeois.
Cécile will be sadly missed by her husband: Albert Goguen; her children: Janice Goguen of Cocagne and Eric Melanson (nee Goguen) of Moncton; her siblings: Clarence Girouard of Saint-Antoine, Jeanne Gallant (Léonard) of Grande-Digue, Ulysse (Stella) of Saint-Antoine, Juliana (Gilles) of Cocagne, Victor of Saint George, NB and Rose-Mai Robichaud of Haut Saint-Antoine; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son: Eugène; her brothers: Henrie and Arthur.
As per Cécile’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will be held at Saint-Pierre-de-Cocagne Cemetery in Cocagne later in spring where she will in peace with her son.
In memory of Cécile, a donation can be made to the Moncton Hospice (Maison Albert).
