Obituary
In loving memory of Ina (Hogarth) Ellis who passed away on Saturday, May 28th at Scarborough Birchmount Hospital surrounded by loved ones at the age of 84.
Our beautiful wife, mother and grandmother will be deeply missed by her loving husband Ken; her loving children Karyn Byrtus (Ron), Craig; and her cherished granddaughter Deanna (Efrain). Ina is also survived by her sister Audrey Ribey and sisters-in-law Marilyn Martin and Bernie Hogarth. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Euretta (Sherman) Hogarth; and her brothers Kenneth and Paul.
Ina was raised and educated in Saugeen Shores, Ontario. She married Ken on September 30, 1961. They celebrated over 60 years of marriage together. They moved to Toronto in 1960, but returned frequently to the family home. Ina enjoyed walks along the beach, watching the sunsets, the outdoors and gardening, spending time with family and friends, reading, and keeping everybody organized. Ina we miss you and will always love you.
As per Ina’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
In Ina’s memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Celiac Association.
