1932-2022
Ida Blanche Harper, 90, of Anagance passed away December 23,
2022 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Steeves Mountain she was a
daughter of the late Henry and Alberta (Goddard) O’Blenis. A homemaker
she enjoyed working on their farm, caring for her family and knitting
and had attended the former Anagance United Church. Ida often
expressed how grateful she was for living a long and full
life.
Survived and sadly missed by her sons
Murray (Ann), Frank (Stephanie), Paul (Rose) and Ronnie
(Valerie); her grandchildren Terrie, Jason, Tanya, Alicia,
Mitchell, Maggin, Christopher and her nine great grandchildren.
Survived also by her brother George O’Blenis and by several nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by her husband Gordon, daughter Leona sisters
Florence MacDonald, Ethel McNutt, Marjorie McCarthy, Cora MacDougall
and brothers Raymond and Hubert O’Blenis.
A graveside service will be held at a later date
at the Anagance Cemetery.
Memorials in Ida’s memory to the Kidney Foundation or a
charity of choice would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care
of the Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800)
