Obituary of Huguette Rita Tyo
Huguette TYO (nee Fortier)
On the sunny morning of January 31st with dignity and grace we lost our matriarch, a wonderfully compassionate woman of extreme strength and perseverance few will ever know and a loyal friend to those who had the privilege to know her. Ma is now in the company of Pa (Harvey 2007) where she has longed to be for very long time. Left to mourn her loss, her son Dan (Laurie), grandsons Kevin (Shannon) and Matt and great-grandchildren Sibyll, Edison and Theodora. There will also be a hole left in the hearts of many extended family members and friends near and wide. We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to the amazing physicians and nursing staff of the emergency department at University Hospital along with the heartfelt thank you and virtual hug to the staff of the 4th floor who took wonderful care of mom and who were there to take our place when we were not able to be there by her side. As per her wishes there will be no memorial service. May you sleep past 3:30 am, take a long walk in a campground and lace up a pair of Barbara Ann Scott skates and take a lap around the rink !
