Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce that Howard went to be with his Lord and Saviour in his 86th year on Friday November 4, 2022 at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
Dear son of the late Oliver and Verna Raymer. Beloved husband and best friend of Kaye (Ruppert). Loving devoted father of Kim (Doug) Moore of Orillia, Sharyn (Bart) Thomson of Ardtrea, Nancy (Drew) Mathies of Georgian Bluffs, and Graydon (Becky) Raymer of North Bay. Devoted grandfather of Cameron (Katie), Mark, Ian, Matthew, Taylor, Nicole, Leah, Will, Ally and Kate. Proud great grandfather of Nate and Hank.
Brother of Glenn, predeceased, (Ann) Raymer of Stouffville, and Leone (Vernon) Sherk of Kitchener. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A special thank you to the staff at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie and Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, especially Dr Yu and Dr Hanrahan, and nurses Kylie, Abby, and Krista for their attentive care and support. Howard will be forever remembered for his devotion to family, friends, his church, and work.
Interment has taken place at Stayner Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a celebration of life to be held at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North in Orillia, on Sunday November 20 at 2:00pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie, or Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
