We are saddened to announce the passing of Mary Jane Hodge of Ivy Durley Place, Flower’s Cove. Mary Jane passed away on August 24, 2022 at Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony.
Mary Jane enjoyed many years of singing, dancing and walking from card game to card game with her beloved husband George.
Left to cherish with many wonderful memories are her husband George Hodge, Sisters Joyce (Gilbert), Kizzie (Rol), Brothers Phil (Joan), Isaac (Olive), Seymour (Ada), Reuban (Gwen) and Sister in Law Sarah Hodge.
Predeceased by her parents George and Kizziah Gaulton, brother George Henry.
Mary Jane’s funeral service will be held in St. Mark’s Church Savage Cove on Friday August 26, 2022 @ 2:00 with Rev. Vernon Short officiating. Interment to follow. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre funeral home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Alicia Patey, funeral director.
