DOUGHERTY, Herbert “Fred”
Of Iron Bridge at Algoma Manor on June 7 2022, in the presence of loved ones, a month shy of his 94th birthday. Mining hoist operator, farmer, self-taught mechanic and vet, volunteer district fire chief, dealer in livestock and equipment, horse-show judge and wagon driver.
Pre-deceased by father Herbert and mother Alma (nee Stanhope), six brothers, first wife Marian and daughter Linda.
Beloved husband for 44 years of Myrla (nee Owens). Missed by Larry (Cora), Brian (Colleen), Marie (Ed), Guy (Maria), Jerry (Susan), Sue (Gary) and Paul (Sandra), 20 grand-children, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Visitation at Beggs Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2022 beginning at 10am until time of service at 11am. Interment at Bellingham Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Kynoch Hall. Marilyn Billings officiating.
