Obituary for
Helena Hannah Crant
It is with great sadness that the family of Helena Hannah Crant announces her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre at Harbour Breton on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, age 89 years, of St. Alban’s.
Helena leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters, Yvonne (Abraham Davis), Elizabeth (Everest Hoskins), all at St. Alban’s, Rebecca (Jerry MacDonald) at Conne River, Rita (Gerald Dubrevil) at Sudbury, ON and Chandra (Lesley MacDonald) at Fort MacMurray, AB; sons, Lloyd at St. Alban’s, Gerard (Trina) at Conne River, Nicodemius at Toronto, ON, Clayton and Kevin (Melina), all at Conne River; seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; sister in law, Eileen MacDonald (Angus) at Conne River; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Helena was predeceased by her husband, William J. Crant; daughter, Angela Palmer; son in law, Gerald Dubrevil; brother, George; sister, Mesida; parents, Blanche and Owen Harding, and, Frank and Elizabeth Howse.
Visitation will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 19-21 at Spencer’s Funeral Home at St. Alban’s from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm each day.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church at St. Alban’s with Father Ousji officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
