Lowther – The death
occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday,
November 3, 2022, of Helen Lowther, formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged
95 years. Born in Borden-Carleton, she was the daughter of the late
Hughie and Martha (Hately) Ahern. Survived by her children Katherine
(Everett) Boulter, Charles (Eleanor), Jo-Anne Stordy, Dennis
(Lorraine), Keith (Judy), Rickey (Debra) and Dean (Valerie); 16
grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren; a sister Ada Kilbride; and by a
brother-in-law Harry (Louise) Lowther. Predeceased by her husband Earl
“Hazen” Lowther; son Leigh (Carolyn); granddaughter Lisa
Lowther; son-in-law Eldon Stordy; a brother Russell (Mildred) Ahern;
sisters Eileen (Herb) Ross and Annie (Ernest) Deegan; sister-in-law
Wanda (Oscar) Campbell; and by brothers-in-law Wendell Kilbride and
Kenneth Lowther. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until
Monday, then to Summerside Church of the Nazarene, for funeral service
at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Cape Traverse Free Church of Scotland
Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Memorial donations to
the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be
appreciated.
