Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Minde was taken away from us this past Sunday, July 17th. Helen was born September 25, 1950 into the Brown family of Bathurst, New Brunswick. She was raised with two older sisters, Marion and Phyllis, and two older brothers, Dale and Erick. She made the trek out west after high school where she met her eventual husband Jim. They bounced around Alberta, from Grande Prairie to Calgary and eventually to Ponoka where they decided to bring their sons Corey and Chad into the mix. Helen will be remembered for her fun loving attitude and wicked sense of humor. She is survived by hers sons, her grandson T.J, her remaining siblings, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. She’s smiling down on us from the Newfie 2 holer in the sky!
We are inviting anyone who knew Helen or knows her sons to come celebrate with them at an informal gathering this Friday, July 22nd at the Scout Hall. Come share a memory, a laugh, have something to eat and drink anytime between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m..
