MOORE: Hartley Robert James
Passed away peacefully at the P.R.HC. on Wednesday September 21, 2022, in his 91st year. Hartley, beloved husband of 70 years to Betty (nee Little). Loving dad to Barry (Sandra), Don (Sandra), Grant (Gail) and Wade (Lana). Cherished grampa of Jeff (Leanne), Phil (Mary Lyn), Kristina, Jill (Perry), Elizabeth (Ivan), Terri-Lynn (Geordie), Melissa (Adam), Darren (Laura), Nathan (Mel), Aaron, Dustin (Larrissa), Joshua, Stephanie and great grampa of Emmett, Parker, Eliana, Alexis, Bibi, Marion, Thorin, Bronwyn, Nyah, Danzel, Evey, Sunny, Jaiden and Mikaela. Survived by his sisters Mima Wood, Laura (Robert) Stockdale and brother Ivan (Elinor). Predeceased by brother Ernest (Noel) and brother-in-law Bob Wood. Hartley was an avid hunter, enjoying many years at “the Camp”, and now the 2nd Week Gang are together again. He was a farmer in Dummer Township for many years. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Sunday September 25, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday September 26, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment, St. Mark’s Cemetery, Warsaw. A reception will follow at the Warsaw Town Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakefield Food Bank as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at P.R.H.C. and to neighbours and friends for your calls of love and support.
