BAKER, Harry Raymond “Ray”
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ray Baker on Monday, April 25th, 2022, in his 84th year. With his loving wife of 45 years Mona by his side. Son of the late Harry and Irene Baker. Father of Elizabeth Smith (Brian) of Belleville, Raymond Baker of Ottawa, Harry Baker (Loni) of Deseronto, Terry Baker (Rosanna Huble) of Stirling, Shirley Diane Banega (Ariel) of Deseronto and Shelley Margrett Baker of Ottawa. Loving grandfather to Dustin, Samantha, Serenne, Caige, Aasha-Shai, Austin, Aaron, Shane, Kaden, Nicholas, Ezekiel, Moses, April, Anne-Marie and predeceased by BJ. Brother to Bob Baker and the late Bill Baker. Ray was a dedicated employee for over 35 years with Wilson Sports Equipment / Amer Sports in Belleville, Ontario. Ray also drove taxi in the city of Belleville for 50 years. Visitation at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Sunday, May 1st, 2022 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Sunday, May 1st, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Deacon Joe Kennedy Reverend officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society (alzheimer.ca or 1-800-616-8816) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
