Harry Martin Richardson, Jr. – age 78 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2022, at home with his wife and daughter by his side. Harry attended Rule High School and was a member of Glen Oaks Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea. Harry was a Vol for life, loved all sports and thoroughly enjoyed many years of playing and coaching softball with various teams. He loved to play cards with his family and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
Preceded in death by parents, Harry Martin Richardson, Sr. and Betty Jane Richardson; brother, Jackie Lynn Richardson; brother-in-laws Perry Browning and Ken Campbell; and sister-in-law Gerri Richardson.
Survived by spouse Judy Romines Richardson; daughter Gina (Jeff) Hampton; brother Ronald Richardson; sisters Patsy Browning, Sharon (Jerry), Karen Campbell, Becky (David) Smith; and several special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home. Services will follow at 7:00PM with Pastor Danny Scates officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 10:45 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2022, for an 11:00 AM interment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Glen Oak Baptist Church.
