BOUTILIER, Harry James – December 7, 1935-October 6, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry on October 6, 2022 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 86.
Best friend and soulmate of June for nearly 61 years. Loving father of Jim (Theresa). Proud grandfather of Justin (Julia) and Jessica (Scott), and great grandfather of Gavin.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary and his eight siblings, Harry being the youngest.
Harry was Scout Master of Niagara Troop 15, an instructor of CPR and first aid, a member of the St. John’s Ambulance, a member of King Edward VII Lodge and a member of the Niagara Shrine Club.
He joined the fire department as a volunteer at the age of 18, becoming full time in 1964. He retired from the Niagara Falls Fire Department as a Platoon Chief in 1995.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street on Tuesday, October 11th from 6:30-8:30 pm. A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at the funeral home, on Wednesday morning, October 12th at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery.
