Passed away, peacefully with family at his side at the Huron Hospice, Clinton on Saturday April 9, 2022 in his 89th year.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Hilma Claussen.
Loving father of Sonke and Annegret Claussen, Hauke and Susanne Claussen all of Brucefield and Gesine and Christian Makoben of Germany.
Proud Opa of Magnus (Abbey), Lucas, Sara, Vica, Kai, Lina and Jan Niklas.
Brother of Helga Will and Karl-Joachim and Baerbel Claussen all of Germany.
Predeceased by his parents Carl and Magda Claussenand his sisters Silke Herzog and Annelene Ehler all of Germany.
His family, especially the grand children, were an important part of his life. “Farmer Schorsch” farmed his entire life in Germany and Canada and his passion for farming and its mechanization will be remembered by all who knew him.
Cremation has been taken place.
A funeral service will be held at the Brucefield Community United Church in the summer, June 21st at 11 am, followed by a lunch at the church.
As expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Brucefield Community United Church or the Huron Hospice, Clinton will be appreciated.
