Obituary
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Wilson Pelley, of Summerford, announce his passing at his home for the past 20 months, the Residence at Littledale in St. John’s. NL. He passed away peacefully surrounded by the people who cared for him.
His wife and soulmate, Ada, died suddenly just short of 10 weeks earlier. He is also predeceased by his parents, Keywood & Dorcas Pelley, brothers: George (Gladys), James, and Lewis, and sisters: Joyce Card, Effie Vandan and Rose Jenkins (Harold).
He leaves four children: Terry (Joanne), Wanda (Jamie Rose), Tony (Rachel) and Jennifer (Corey Rice). He also leaves six grandchildren: April (Mark Elliott), Stephen, Morgan, Patrick, Ethan and Natalie; brother-in-law Gerald Card and sisters-in-law Eileen Pelley and Louise Pelley as well as many nieces and nephews.
Public visitation will take place at the Salvation Army in Summerford from noon until 2:45 on Monday. The funeral service will take place at 3:00 followed by the graveside service.
Donations in Wilson’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Summerford, NL.
