Obituary of Gregory O’Dell
Retired – Owner of O’Dell Building Services which served the City of Kawartha Lakes for many years
It is with great sadness that we announce that Greg passed away surrounded by love at Peterborough Regional Hospital in Peterborough.
Greg has left behind his wife and best friend Dana of 43 years, his much loved and cherished daughter Megan (Doug – son in law) his cherished and precious grand children Hayden and Hayley Coulter. Greg was most content and happy when these two were by his side, throwing balls, playing road hockey, playing Crazy 8’s and taking them for a Rhino ride (ATV).
He also leaves behind his brother Howard, sister Donna, and brother Les, his cousin Grad, many nieces and nephews whom he loved so much. Predeceased Sister Sharon and his father Clifford O’Dell and Verla O’Dell.
As per Greg’s wishes there will be no service. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Peterborough Regional Hospital Cardiac Care. Thank you to Jeff and Ryan – Nurses – who provided such loving care and support to Greg and Dana and Megan.
If you hear the song by Golden Earring – Radar Love, which was his favourite song, picture him flying down the road in “Clarice”his beloved white Corvette Convertible.
Love you Poodle – always in my heart – Dana
