Obituary
Gregory was born on January 9, 1984 in Loon Lake, Sask to Peter Merz and Jenny Ben. He graduated at the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation School in 2003 and lived his whole entire 38 years of life in Loon Lake. Gregory was a very loving, compassionate, outgoing, fun loving kinda guy. He loved to play volleyball in high school and also enjoyed ball when we had a family team. Golf was another sport he enjoyed playing. He liked watching wrestling, ufc and football. Gregory had the best sense of humour and always made everyone around him laugh. He was the life of the party. He was the most loving and caring father to his three children. He loved all of them very very much. Gregory was always so kind to go out of his way to help others. He liked to keep in touch with his friends and family. He enjoyed talking to his father about sports and all his favorite teams. There is so many things to write about Gregory. He sure did make everyone laugh and wasn’t a party pooper anyway!
He will be dearly missed by: his common law partner, Whitney Mistickokat and his 3 beautiful children, Breanna, Tiana and Zack Mistickokat-Ben; his parents, Peter Merz and Jenny Ben; his siblings, Jennifer (Kerry) Gamble, Richard Ben; his adopted brothers, Ivan Ben, Leon Crookedneck, Patrick Crookedneck; and his best friend Cory Cantre.
Gregory was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edna Ben, Joseph Bear, John and Annie Merz; his brothers, Clifton and John Ben; his aunty, Joanne Ben; and his uncles, Brian and Mathew Ben.
