It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth Grace in her 96th year. Elizabeth is survived by her youngest sister, Louise Freemark (Pembroke, Ontario), several nieces and nephews, her much loved (Mackean) family in Montreal and many good and kind friends. Pre-deceased by her older brother, Jackie, and sisters Maureen and Olive.
Betty was born in Renfrew, Ontario, and left home at an early age to pursue her calling as a nurse. After many years of dedicated service, she spent her retirement years pursuing her interests in travel, culture, music, history and reading. She was an independent women, proud of her achievements, a friend to many, and displayed a zest for life well into her later years.
A private memorial service will be held at 3 pm on November 20, 2022, at the funeral home Kane Fetterly, 5301 Decarie Blvd., Montreal
