Glenna Pearl (Llewellyn) MacLean – Coalburn:
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Glenna Pearl (Llewellyn) MacLean age 75, on December 3, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit New Glasgow.
Born on September 15, 1947 in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late James Henry and Lillian May (King) Llewellyn.
Glenna was the devoted wife of husband Joe; also survived by son Lance (Alison); granddaughter Haylie; and her mother Janine; brother Jack (Linda) Llewellyn; sisters Sheila (Len) Eaton; Sherry (Lloyd) English; sister-in-law Joy MacLean; several nieces and nephews.
Glenna attended Trenton High School. Glenna worked at Michelin Tire Until her retirement in 2005. She was a beach person and loved the Merb and Pamure Island when visiting her island cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Junior MacLean; sisters-in-law Beth Pettipas and Janet Millen
A memorial service will be held in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, 256 King Street, New Glasgow at 1 pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 with Rev. Rosemary Godin officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery.
Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Glenna would like to thank her doctors, Dr. Park, Dr. Kwasnik, Dr. Raysan, Dr. Eric Hyum and Dr. Gerry Farrell, also the nurses at palliative care. Special thanks to her niece Carla Williams BSCN RN, FPN, NSWOC and everyone for their support over the past months. Thanks to my special cousin Sandra Stephens. Thanks to Mike Vienneau and rev.
