The death of Glenn Edward Matchett husband of Brenda Matchett of Boom Road, NB, occurred on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the age of 74. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret “Peggy” Matchett. Glenn worked as the Materials Manager at UPM where he retired after 39 years. Glenn was an Amateur Radio Operator “VE1ACI” and enjoyed tying flies.
Besides his wife, Glenn is survived by daughter: Jacinda Tozer (Peter) of Cassilis, NB; son: Jansen Matchett (April) of Moncton, NB; brother: Terry Matchett (Colleen) of Cassilis, NB; grandchildren: Jada, Jax and Jayden as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Glenn is predeceased by son: Jeffrey; nephew: Tanner Matchett; son-in-law: John Tozer; father and mother-in-law: Budrow and Beryl Tozer; brother-in-law: Budrow and sister-in-law: Gail.
Visitation and Funeral Service time to be announced. Burial will follow in the Boom Road Presbyterian Cemetery.
