Gladys’ Obituary
My mother and best friend, Gladys Grodzinski – the Dancing Queen of Bellenden, Tiny and Canora has passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022.
A hall was built very close to the Yakymyshen farm yard. The family grew up dancing and Mom loved it. Later in life Mom taught Pattern Dancing, she was well known in the dancing community. She loved playing cards especially Canasta and she was a shark at it. Mom loved the farm, there were hard times and good times, she was very proud of the farm lots of excellent parties were had there.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband John, daughters Donna and Carol, son-in-law Mark; her parents Mike and Maggie, brothers James, Jake, Bill, and Victor, sisters Olive, Linda, Sylvia, and Marianne. She is survived by daughter Diana; grandson Jesse (Twyla), great grand daughters twins Scarlett and Elianne; grandson Colton (Geraldine), great grand daughter Kalia; granddaughter Amiee (Jas); sisters Alice, Vicky and Phyllis, plus many nieces and nephews.
At Mom’s request there will be no funeral services, her ashes will be placed with husband John.
