TRIGIANI (nee D’AVELLA), GIUSEPPINA
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Giuseppina (Pina) Trigiani, surrounded by her loving family on December 24th 2022 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Trigiani. Loving mother and mother in law to John & Miriam Trigiani, Tony & Julie Trigiani, Tina & Tony Andreana, Sandra Trigiani & her fiance Paolo. Dearest Nonna to Bianca, Anthony, Michael, Marco, Mya and Cristian, and her furry grandchild, her bestie, Marlo, who all brought her so much joy.
Dear sister & sister-in-law to the late Michele & late Filomena Figliola, the late Antonio & Antonietta D’Avella, the late Guiseppe D’Avella, the late Alberto & late Maria D’Avella, the late Ernesto & Lilia D’Avella, the late Concettina & the late Nicola Sabatino, Clementina & the late Eugenio Capobianco, Maria & the late Donato Petrucelli. Dear sister-in-law to the late Michele & late Lucia Trigiani, the late Antonio & late Rosolina Farace, the late Francesco & Caterina Trigiani, Michellina & the late Filipo Sbrocchi, the late Rosaria & Duilio Caruso, Nicola & Ines Trigiani, and Tony & Lucia Finelli. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, the U.S and Italy.
Giuseppina will be remembered by her immense love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren. She often spoke about how proud she was of them and thoroughly enjoyed all their moments spent together. Giuseppina and Antonio were married in 1962, made a beautiful life together and sacrificed so much to make possible the best life for their children. She is now reunited with him in heaven, which brings her family comfort, as she missed him so very much.
Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Thursday, December 29th from 12-4pm, and 6-9pm. Vigil prayers on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at All Souls Church on Friday, December 30th at 10am. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington, In lieu of flowers; donations can be made to Operation Smile, a charity that Giuseppina often supported herself.
