Obituary for
Gilbert Paul Lizee
Gilbert Paul Lizee, 66, of Edmonton, AB passed away peacefully in his sleep on the afternoon on March 2, 2022 at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre. Gilbert was born in Rockglen, SK and will always be remembered for his passion for sports, whether coaching his sons baseball teams or watching the Edmonton Oilers play. He also had a love for country music and Elvis Presley. Gilbert had a great sense of humor and we will all miss his contagious laughter.
He is survived by his son, Daniel (Cyndi) and their daughters, Katie, Becca and Jessica; his daughter, Cindy (Patric) and her daughter, Claudia; his son, Dieter (Terrie) and their daughters, Eden and Isabel; and his daughter, Jennifer and his son, Trevor.
The following will carry on his memory: Simone Lizee (mother), Gerald Lizee (brother), Diane Munro (sister), Maurice Lizee (brother), Marianne Styre (sister), Liliane Johnson (sister), Laurianne Norman (sister). Also along with their spouses and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gilbert is predeceased by Claude Lizee (father), Suzanne Nelson (sister) and Madeleine Lizee (sister).
Thank you to the hospice staff at Unit 9Y at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre.
