Passed away suddenly at camp where Ger was his happiest and most at peace, on August 15, 2022, at the age of 71.
Predeceased by his loving wife Judy, the love of his life, who he is now reunited with.
Father of Daniel (Verna) Trudel and Nicole Baic-Trudel (Christopher). Stepdad of Ghislain (Paula). Extremely proud Papa of Mark (Amanda), Daniel, Asia and Jacob.
Predeceased by his parents Victor and Marie Trudel. Dear brother of the late Bertha (Lawrence) Sartoretto, late Hector (Lynda Reid), late Priscilla (Ron) Gagnon, late Theo (Alison), Ivan (Debbie), Raymond (Bonnie) and Victor (Roseanne). Gerry was loved and will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you from Gerry ‘the Mayor’ to his Silver Birch Batchewna family, that meant the world to him.
He will be fondly remembered by his closest friends, Rick Berlinguette and Ted & Darcy Menzies. He will be greatly missed by his GFL family and all the friendships he nurtured throughput the years. His love of story telling, and sharing is what he leaves with us.
Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St.) on Monday August 22, 2022, from 11:00am until the time of the service in the chapel at 1:00pm.
