1946-2022
SAINT-IGNACE, NB – Geraldine Johnson, 75, of
Saint-Ignace passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital on
Friday, April 15th, 2022. Born in Belliveau
Village, she was the daughter of the late Joseph “Joe” and
Delia (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Geraldine leaves to mourn her two daughters, Nancy Johnson
(Roger Meunier) of Richibucto and Tammy Johnson (Tommy Johnson) of
Saint-Ignace; her son Sylvio Johnson (Heather MacQuarrie) of
Saint-Norbert; as well as her four grandchildren, Christine, Jessica,
Mikey and Alain and her seven great-grandchildren, Alexis, Lyric,
Bentley, Grayson, Liam, Noah and Joshua.
Geraldine will also be sadly missed by her two sisters,
Jeannine Doucet (Alphonse) of Beresford and Stella Robichaud (late
Abraham) of Saint-Ignace; her three brothers, Ulysse LeBlanc of
Moncton, Jean LeBlanc of Fox Creek and Dollard LeBlanc of
Saint-Antoine; as well as by her many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Geraldine was predeceased by her
husband, Gerard “Bolduc” Johnson and her granddaughter,
Tiffany Richard.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent Friday from 9:00am until departure for the
funeral. The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, April
22nd, 2022 at 11:00am, Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola
Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Ignace.
