Georges-Henri Blais
le 16 octobre 1939 – le 20 avril 2022
C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Georges-Henri, mercredi, le 20 avril 2022, à l’hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls à l’âge de 82 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Marc (Sylvie) Blais de Smooth Rock Falls, Manon (Léo) Depelteau de Casselman, Roland (Darlene) Blais de Timmins, feu Alain (feu Shirley) Blais, feu Angèle (Guy) Séguin de Timmins et Paul (Marie-Hélène) Blais de Bourget.
Georges-Henri était le grand-père de Geneviève (Jacques), Luc (Tamy), Mario (Meggan), Véronique (DJ), Vanessa, Maxime (Laura), Nathalie, Richard, Michael, feu Alain Jr., Stéphanie, Jean-François (Stéphanie), Rémi (Laurence), Pascal, Emma, Christopher (Laurence) et arrière-grand-père de 15 petits-enfants.
Il laisse aussi dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs feu Paul-Alexandre (feu Hélène), feu Laurent, feu Lucille, Bérengère (Normand) Leduc, Estelle (Richard) Ménard, Fernand (Ginette), Julie (Denis) Bélanger et ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, nièces, neveux et amis.
Il est allé rejoindre son épouse Gisèle (née Toulouse) Blais, ses parents Georges Noé et Alexina (née Chabot) Blais.
La famille recevra parent et amis à l’église Ste-Gertrude de Smooth Rock Falls, samedi, le 30 avril 2022 à partir de 9h30 jusqu’à 10h45.
Le service funéraire aura lieu, samedi, le 30 avril 2022 à 11h célébré par le Père Jean Morin.

The family announces with sorrow the passing of Georges-Henri at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 82. He leaves in mourning his children: Marc (Sylvie) Blais of Smooth Rock Falls, Manon (Léo) Depelteau of Casselman, Roland (Darlene) Blais of Timmins, late Alain (late Shirley) Blais, the late Angèle (Guy) Séguin of Timmins and Paul (Marie-Hélène) Blais of Bourget.
Georges-Henri was the beloved grandfather of Geneviève (Jacques), Luc (Tamy), Mario (Meggan), Véronique (DJ), Vanessa, Maxime (Laura), Nathalie, Richard (Natalie), Michael, the late Alain Jr., Stéphanie, Jean-François (Stéphanie), Rémi (Laurence), Pascal, Emma, Christopher (Laurence) and great-grandfather of 15 grandchildren.
He also leaves in mourning his siblings the late Paul-Alexandre (late Hélène), late Laurent, late Lucille, Bérengère (Normand) Leduc, Estelle (Richard) Ménard, Fernand (Ginette), Julie (Denis) Bélanger and many brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
He is predeceased by wife Gisèle (née Toulouse) Blais, his parents Georges Noé and Alexina (née Chabot) Blais.
Visitations will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at the Ste-Gertrude Church in Smooth Rock Falls.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11 am at the Ste-Gertrude Church with Father Jean Morin officiating.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation and would be greatly appreciated.
