George’s Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of George Heath announce his peaceful passing on Tuesday, March 29th,2022 in his 66th year at Western Memorial Regional Hspt. in Corner Brook. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his siblings; Nellie Rice, Alice (Arthur) Pittman, Isabelle (Allan) Stuckless, Eileen Gale, Violet Regular, Angus (Kay), John (Lorene), Emma (Allan) Cater, Rosena Mitchelmore and Irene (Tony) Verge. Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives, friends and his special friends Leah & Rachel.
He was predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Mae Heath, brothers Bryant and Reginald, grandparents George and Emma Heath & William and Martha Langford, brother-in-laws; Wilfred Rice, Eric Gale and Hubert Mitchelmore.
George was a very fond, loving, caring and generous man. He had a great respect for everyone and was always there to lend a helping hand. He was a very sociable man and made friends everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A heartfelt thank you to Peggy & Brooke Bacher, St. George, NB for the exceptional care given to George during his time there. The family would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the management and staff at The Deer Lake Manor for the excellent care given to George the past 2 &1/2 years. Also a thank you to Dr. Zhou and the nurses at Western Memorial Regional Hspt. in Corner Brook for your care and support.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1st,2022 at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel at 2 pm with Pastor George Cole officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society in George’s memory.
