George “Clinton” Rickard
1929-2022
George “Clinton” Rickard of Hartland passed
away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in
Waterville. He was born August 12, 1929, and was the son of the late
George and Lottie Rickard. He was the last member of his immediate
family, having been predeceased by his siblings, Kathleen, Leila,
Frank, Archie, Allison, Florence, Paul, Willis and Nellie. He was also
predeceased by a grandson, Jason Rickard and a daughter-in-law, Adele
Rickard.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Willa Rickard of Hartland;
children, Mark (Norma) Rickard of Kilburn, Brett Rickard of Ottawa,
Colleen (Andrew) Crawford of Royalton, Joel Rickard of Halifax;
grandchildren, Nicole Rickard, Jordan (Tiffany) Crawford, Kaitlin
Crawford, Tye Rickard, Abe Rickard; great grand daughter, Mackenzie
Crawford; several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family visitation and funeral service
with Rev. Michael Goodfellow officiating. The interment will be in the
Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. If so desired donations can be made to
Trinity United Church or Upper River Valley Hospital Foundation.
