Bloor, George Alfred Frederick , December 3, 1937 – Feb 23, 2022 — It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George, predeceased by his wife of 63 year Lorraine (December 2021). He joins his parents George ‘Toby’ and Martha ‘Toots’. Proud father of Kimberly Patterson and her husband Peter, Michelle Gerow and her husband Brian. Cherished and adored “Gramps” of Justin Patterson, Christine Murphy (Devon), Stacy Dedlow (Wes), Sawyer Gerow (Anna), Steven Gerow (Maria), Samuel Gerow (Abbie Cole). He will be dearly missed by his precious great grandchildren Paisley Gerow, Brogan Murphy, Avery Gerow, Bodhi Dedlow, Hank Gerow, Carrigan Murphy and Briggs Dedlow. George was a computer systems analyst by trade but his carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and woodworking skills are going to be missed. One call and he would be there to help his family. The family would like to thank Dr. Beamish and Dr. Sharif. A very special “THANK YOU” to the wonderful staff at Hospice Peterborough. Your compassion and care was second to none. “There are angels amongst us.” A graveside funeral service will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock.
