Gene Laverne “Jub” Hill
Peacefully at home with family by his side on Saturday May 14, 2022 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of 56 years to Sandra. Loving Dad of Richard (deceased), Dawn (Marvin Jr.), and Paula (Zen). Cherished Pubba’s to Tamara (Dave), Jordan, Nicholas, Natalia (Isaac), and Katrina. Loving Great Pubba’s to Catherine, Allison, Benjamin, and Julianna. Brother of Floydy, Scott, Gunner, Fran, Justine, Cheryl, Brenda, Tammy, Verna, and Andrea. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predecased by siblings Erma, Joyce, Loretta, Guy, Roger, Annette, and Terry. Jub was involved for numerous years with the Warriors Lacrosse, Ohsweken Golden Eagles Junior Hockey, helped with the Caledonia Corvairs and also volunteered with the Six Nations Midget Fastball Team. Private visitation will be held. Cremation to follow with burial of cremated remains at Stumphall Cemetery at a later date. The family extends a heart felt thank you to their caseworker Caroline Hill and Dr. Amy Montour with the Community Outreach Program for their professional guidance and care.
