On Thursday, January 20, 2022 Mr. Gary Metcalfe of Wainwright, Alberta passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 88 years.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Chloe; two daughters, Judy (Brian) Bethune of Wainwright, Shelley Leskow of Wainwright; grandchildren, Tamilyn (Todd Schubada) Worthing, Shawn (Lisa) Leskow and their children Harper and Gavin, Clinton (Amber Chislet) Worthing and their children, Bailey, Ryder, Cooper, Jordyn, and Hudson, Dariel (Darcy) Rutledge… Read More » and their children, Kaylan, Zack and Teagan, Kristin Bethune; sisters, Lois Lancastle of Edmonton, Alberta, Phyllis May of Toronto, Ontario; brother, Keith Metcalfe of Edmonton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stan (Fern) Wright of Westerose, Alberta, Wilf (Kay) Wright of Westerose, Ron (Linda) Wright of Edson, Alberta. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil & Julie Metcalfe, brother, Norton (Olive) Metcalfe; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barb Metcalfe, Dave Lancastle, Chuck May, Harold (Elsie) Wright.
A funeral service for Gary will be conducted on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM from Creech’s Funeral Chapel, Wainwright. This is a private family service.
