With heartfelt sadness, we announce that Gabriel Janvier passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 76 years.
Gabriel is survived by his loving daughters Shirley (Gilbert), Bernadette (Ivan), Shelley (Reza), Sheila, Sharon & Sheryl; his sons George, Georgie & Mike; grandchildren Sheryl, Sheri, Gilbert Jr., Chelsea, Jennilee, Kelsey, Douglas, Nadya, Kiesha, Danielle, Michelle, Dale, Shelby, Shawn, Donnie, Shaylen, Valishia, Vince, Jacinta, Isaiah, Cheyenne, Julie, Cassidy, Destiny, Samuel, Noella, Tayden & Paris; numerous great-grandchildren; best friends Josie Janvier & Gerald Herman; siblings Jack (Shirley), Emile, Janet, Harvey (Edwina), Grace, Wayne, Terry (Noreen), Elaine (Germaine), Angeline (Paul) & Sandra (Anderson); half-siblings Jean, Irene, Malvina & Christine.
He was predeceased by his son Douglas Bruce Janvier; father Francois Janvier; mother Marie Janvier; brothers Marcelle Janvier & Gordon Janvier; sisters Charlotte Sylvestre & Couronne Janvier;uncle Eugene Janvier; in-laws Eugene Lemaigre, Phillip Lemaigre, Tobie & Celina Janvier, Roy Lemaigre, Toby & Alice Lemaigre.
A Funeral Service was held on August 18, 2022 in La Loche, Saskatchewan and Interment was held at the La Loche Cemetery.
