Obituary of Fred Sturgess
Passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour at his residence in Hamilton, on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Mary Anne and was predeceased by his first wife Janet (2004). Loved father of Peter and his wife Candice. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Kryssa, Daniel, Naomi, Conner and Benson. Dear brother of Darlene McBeth (Robert) and Judy Elley (Roger) and was predeceased by sister Sharon Suttie. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 9th at 1:30 p.m. which will be livestreamed to the Funeral Home Facebook Page.
