Frances Richards 1934 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Frances E. Richards (Voutt) on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the
Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. surrounded by her loving
family.
Frances was born in Dewolfe NB, oldest daughter of the late
Willis Charles and Mildred Verna (Gardner) Voutt.
Frances is survived by her three sons, Dwayne (Donna)
Richards, Robert Richards and Gregory (Amanda) Richards, two
daughters, Deborah (Doug) Smith and Susan Cooke all of St. Stephen,
N.B., fourteen grandchildren, Ricci (Star) Richards, Jaime
(Clinton) MacLennan, Kathie (Bob) Burnside, Jeka (Chris) Dupont,
Whitney and Alyson Richards, Sara Jade and Gaige Russell-
Richards, Kayli Denley, Jelisa (Jessie) and Ben (Ashley) Smith,
Britni, Ashalee (Brad) and Ethan Cooke, eleven
great-grandchildren. Frances is also survived by her brothers and
sister, Borden (Shelia) Voutt of Ontario, John (Linda) Voutt of
Dewolfe N.B. and Barb Voutt of St. Stephen N.B., several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her
husband of 60 years, Gerald Richards, daughter, Mary Richards, six
brothers, David, Milton, Paul, Basil, Beverly and Murray and three
sisters, Phyllis, Mary and Evelyn.
Funeral service will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son
Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen N.B. on Friday,
September 16, 2022 at 2 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral
home on Friday from 12-2 PM.
Interment at Moores Mills Rural Cemetery, Moores
Mills NB.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Charlotte County Cancer
Society or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by
the family. Condolences may be sent to the family online at
