Obituary
LEVEILLE- Florent formerly of Port Colborne passed away at Foyer Richelieu in Welland on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the age of 93 years. He was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario in 1928 and spent his early years of his life in Maniwaki, Quebec, moving to Port Colborne in the mid 1940’s, where he worked at INCO for 30 years, retiring as a Foreman in the ECR Department. He is survived by his daughter Isabelle Currie and his son Yves (Valerie 2018), his brothers Robert (Linda), Gabriel (Angela) and his sisters Florence Nolet, Carmen, and Giselle Rudisher. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Maria Paul (2005), his son Roger, his parents Daniel and Rosina (née Charbonneau), his stepmother Yvette Leveille, his brothers Daniel Jr., Conrad, Fernand and Laurier, his sisters Celina Tremblay and Anita Schnob. The Leveille family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Jean de Brébeuf Roman Catholic Church at 1:30 pm. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mr. Leveille made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
