RITCHIE, EVELYN (MCCOOEYE)
Peacefully at Osgoode Care Centre on Tuesday November 22, 2022 Evelyn (McCooeye) of Russell, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of late Charles Armstrong and long-time companion and friend of the late Bill Garland. Loving mother of John Armstrong (Debbie), Jim Armstrong (Bonnie), Betty Anne (Steve Hamilton), Bruce Armstrong (Joanne), Kathy (Terry O’Donnell), Linda (Lou Laventure), Connie (Dave Lannin) and the late Roland (infant). Loved by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Ena (late Jim Meloy) and Dorothy (late Peter Vidal). Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday November 27. Funeral Monday November 28 in the Chapel for Service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 139 Castor Street, Box 699, Russell ON K4R 1C7 or C.H.E.O. Foundation 415 Smyth Rd. Ottawa, ON K1H 8M8 would be most appreciated.
