Obituary of Eva Bragg
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eva Catherine Bragg (nee Kettle) announces her passing on Thursday, February 24, 2022, with her loving family by her side at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques at the age of 78 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Eva was the daughter of the late Norman and Annie (nee Buttery) Kettle. Eva leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted husband of 54 years George, her son, Glen, daughter Tracey, granddaughters Chelsea and Hayley Bragg and grand puppy, Marcy. She also leaves to mourn brother, Clarence (Blanche) Kettle, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Calvin (Dorothy) Bragg, Ivan (Irene) Bragg and Phyllis (Gord) Strickland plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family. Eva was predeceased by sister, Gertie Kettle and brothers, Eric and Albert Kettle, mother and father in law Christopher and Esther Bragg.
Family and friends may visit the Oceanside Funeral Home in Port aux Basques on Friday, February 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Grand Bay with Rev. Faye Coffin officiating. Interment to follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donation’s in memory of Eva made be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
Please note that in accordance with provincial regulations, proof of Covid-19 vaccination and mask will be needed to enter for visitation and the funeral service.
