At the
Riverview Manor, with family by her side, the passing of Ethel May
Sorrie (nee Sencabaugh) age 84, devoted wife of the late John
“Sterling” Sorrie, occurred on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born
in Murray Harbour North, March 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the
late Melbourne and Nellie (Sencabaugh) Llewellyn. Ethel is survived by
children, Shirley (Alva) Allen, Linda (Bill) Wilkie, Steven (Vanessa)
Sorrie; sisters Louise Graham, Brenda Leeco; sister-in-law Myrna
Sorrie; brother-in-law Lloyd Westaway; grandchildren Wade (Tammy)
Sorrie, Corinne (Shawn) Morris, Kenneth (Tasha) Wilkie, Natalie (Adam)
White, Travis Wilkie, Madison (Faith) Acorn, Kinslee Sorrie, Bella
Sorrie; great grandchildren Deanna, Austin, Macy, Myah, Erin, Grace,
Carson, Jacob, Lilly, Tyler, Conner; great great grandchild Charlie;
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Brent Allen; sister-in-law
Catherine Westaway; brothers-in-law Bruce Graham, Frank Leeco and
Douglas Sorrie.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with private family visiting by
invitation only, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Private family service
by invitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 6:00 pm, in
the Funeral Home Chapel with live streaming. Interment to take place
