It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ernestine “AMA” McDonald, late of Fond Du Lac, SK on May 28th, 2022, at the age of 76 years. Ernestine was born in Fond Du Lac, SK on January 14th, 1946, to Napoleon and Louise Mercredi. Ernestine will be lovingly remembered by her children Benny (Bertha), Darryl (Florence), Danny (Jodi), William (Theresa), Freddie (Kimberley), Brenda, Bertha (Felix), Diane (Mervin), Dorothy (Eugene), Beverly (Justin), Ernma, & Karen; her grandchildren Bradley, Stacy, Benny Jr., Brandon, Cassie, Fredrika (April), Brittany, Delannie, Conrad, Johnnie Jr., Justin (June), Deanna, Michelle, Hailee, Issac, Meaghan, Luke, Dillon, Darien, Dixie, Danny Jr., Demi, Brandan, Whitney, Veronique, Marrissa, Jeremy, Jayla, Jaylynn, Liam, Maddison, Tessa, Jr William, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and godchildren; her daughters-in-law Linda McDonald, & Mary Rose (Darren) Hansen; her brother-in-law George (Rosalie) McDonald; & her sisters-in-law Irene (Delbert) McDonald, & May Sayazie. Ernestine was predeceased by her husband Barthelemey “Bart” McDonald; her children Bernice, Johnny, Danny, & Dennis; her grandchildren Cindy, Desiree, Marcella, & James; her son-in-law Freddy Sr. McDonald; her parents Napoleon & Louise; her stepfather Eli Henerazie; her siblings Thomas, Bernadette, Paul, Andrew, Georgie, Helen, Archie, & Darie; her father-in-law & mother-in-law William (Veronique) McDonald; her brothers-in-law Magloire Sr. Sayazie, Pierre Robillard, Pat Tyrell, Jules Pacquette, Jack Roesler, Joseph McDonald, & Edward McDonald; & her sisters-in-law Marie Mercredi, Evelyn Mercredi, Albertine McDonald, Georgina Roesler, Christine Tyrell, & Rosie McDonald. A Wake Service will be commencing Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, at the residence of Ernestine McDonald in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, at 2 PM at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Officiant will be Father Paul Oshin.
