It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ernest ‘Ernie’ Glenn Thornton of Cold Lake, AB announces his unexpected passing on February 23, 2022 at the age of 61 years.
Ernie is lovingly survived by his brother: Phil Thornton; three sisters: Gerry (Wayne) Bamber, Colleen Browne, Jocelyn (Gerald) McCormack; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents: Carol & John Thornton; brother-in-law: David Browne; sister-in-law: Jacqueline Thornton; grandparents: John & Eleanore Thornton, Gus & Annie Rettschlag.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., Cold Lake Masonic Hall, Cold Lake, Alberta. Final resting place, Lakeview Cemetery, Cold Lake, Alberta.
Memorial tributes in memory of Ernie may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
