Emily Anne Daigle
1958-2022
BASS RIVER, NB – Emily Daigle 64, formerly of
Jardineville, NB passed away peacefully at La Villa Maria in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Born in Rexton, she was
the daughter of the late Alan Warman and late Phyllis (Markey)
Warman.
Before retiring, Emily obtained her master’s degree
from UNB Fredericton and dedicated her life to pursuing higher
education, teaching and administration within the public school
system. She was an executive member of the NBTA for many years and she
deeply loved and cared for all of her students. As the principal at
Bonar Law Memorial School, Emily advocated for the staff and students
all while organizing and contributing to many fundraisers that greatly
improved the school’s environment and enriched the Rexton
community.
Besides Emily’s natural ability to find four-leaf
clovers, she was very passionate about travelling, reading and
spending time with friends and family. Emily’s
grandchildren, whom she adored and was adored-by, cherished her
stories while she would bake bread and chocolate chip cookies with
them.
Emily will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 42 years,
John Daigle of Bass River; one daughter, Jennifer Hudson (Dustin) of
Bass River; one son, Christopher Daigle (Anelle) of Summerside, PEI;
two step-children, Georgette Daigle of Moncton, Gabriel Daigle
(Jennifer) of Calgary and ten grandchildren, Tyler,
Sébastien, Reese, Tristan, Mavrick, Loïk, Brielle,
Zéa, Emmett and Éliza.
She is also survived by one sister, Sheila Ryan (Gary) of
Bass River; five brothers, Blaine Warman (Jane) of Sus, Kevin
Warman (late Paula) of Bass River Point, Dale Warman (Cheryl) of
Beersville, Randy Warman (Lisa) of Rexton and many nieces and
nephews.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A
Graveside Service will be held at St. Stephen’s United
Cemetery in Molus River on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00
am.
