Dyck, Elvera Louise
July 21,1929 – May 12, 2022
Elvera Dyck (née Warkentin), loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Elvera was born and raised near Dundurn, SK where she met and married Albert Dyck. Elvera had several jobs throughout her life but she claimed her years as a homemaker, with small children underfoot, were some of the happiest. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert, in November 2018.
The family thanks the staff at Bow View Manor for their attentive care and compassion in the last years of Elvera’s life.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to The Brenda Strafford Foundation at 4628 Montgomery Blvd NW, Calgary, AB, T3B 0K7.
